UAE media supplier enters US market

Based in the United Arab Emirates, Falcon Technologies International, a manufacturer of optical data storage discs for professional and archival applications, has entered the US market with the introduction of a complete line of superior quality optical recording media solutions, CD, DVD and Blu-ray discs.

FTI technologies include a 24K Gold reflective layer that gives the CD-R and DVD-R media an archival life span of more than 300 and 100 years respectively, according to the company. It also provides ultra hard coat scratch resistance protection, printable disc surface options and ultra-performance inorganic alloy recording material for Blu-ray discs.

FTI is a joint investment between the Swiss-based investment and management company, PrimusTEch Investments, and a large group of UAE corporate and private investors. All FTI media is manufactured in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. However, the complete line of FTI's FalconMedia Pro media products is available now from the company's distribution centre in Fremont, California.
