The
six billionth DVD disc in Europe came off the production line at
arvato digital services in Gütersloh. The disc in question
Shaun the Sheep – Saturday Night Shaun –
was manufactured for Concorde Home Entertainment.
“We have had a close customer relationship with Concorde Home
Entertainment over many years. Shaun the Sheep –
Saturday Night Shaun is the third part of the cult
series and we have already produced well over 300,000 units for
this series,” says Sven Deutschmann, CEO arvato digital services
Manufacturing EMEA.
The TV programme is the third DVD featuring Europe’s most
popular sheep. In eight seven-minute episodes Shaun shows all the
things he can do. It is the offsping of world-famous Aardman Animations
of Wallace & Gromit fame, in co-production with the BBC and
Westdeutscher Rundfunk.
